How WisdomTec handles personal information on this website and in Kindful, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are
WisdomTec is a trading name of WisdomTec Ventures Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus (registration number HE 497926), with its registered office at 13 Flat/Office 4B, Agios Antonis, 3020, Limassol, Cyprus. We build Kindful, an AI-supported mindfulness companion. Our Information Officer for privacy matters is Christos Malikkidis, who can be reached at contact@wisdomtec.ai.
What this notice covers
This notice applies to this website, to people who contact us, and to people who take part in a Kindful pilot or research study. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.
Information we collect
- Website use: this website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Our fonts and images are served from the site itself. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (for example IP address, browser type and the time of a visit) to keep the site secure and running.
- Enquiries: our forms do not send anything from the website. When you press the send button, your own email app opens with your message ready to send to contact@wisdomtec.ai. We receive only what you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, organisation and message.
- Pilots and research: participants take part under a study code rather than their name, and pilot and research data is pseudonymised. Employers never see individual participant data, and results for groups smaller than five are not reported. [Confirm.]
- Kindful conversations: Kindful conversations are processed and stored on Google Cloud Platform. [Confirm what is stored, for how long, and whether it is used to improve the product.].
Why we use it
To respond to enquiries, to arrange pilots and collaborations, to run research with consent, and to keep Kindful safe and working well.
Who we share it with
We use Google Firebase Hosting to host this website, Google Workspace to receive email, and Google Cloud Platform to run Kindful. These providers may process information on servers outside South Africa. We do not sell personal information. [Confirm any other service providers and where they are located.]
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain uses, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za). Because WisdomTec Ventures Ltd is based in Cyprus, if you are in the European Union you also have rights under the GDPR, and you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy). If you are in another country, you can ask us about the rights you have under your local law. Write to contact@wisdomtec.ai.
Kindful is not a crisis service
If you or someone you know is in danger, contact a health professional, a community member, or local emergency services or a crisis line.
